So now that you know what snorting means let’s start by talking a little bit about the infamous snorting drugs and why some prefer to snort them.
Why do people snort drugs?
So probably you saw it in the movies too… I know that I saw it a lot.
A guy is alone in his house… and you can see on his face and on his body expressions that he is going through a hard moment… then he grabs a little bit of some drug and with a blade or with something else that can do the job he chops the drug. And then he divides it into some fine lines, and with a straw, he inhales the drug through one of his nostrils.
But here is the question, why did he snort the drug?
Well for some it’s just their favorite way to consume drugs… but there is a reason behind it…
They usually snort the drug because they will achieve faster “results” in doing that. They will feel faster the desired effect of the drug when they snort it!
That occurs because when the drug is snorted it will go almost immediately into the bloodstream…. and the drug kicks in faster that way.
Of course that all depends on the individual and on what kind of drug it is used, but usually it takes 5 to 10 minutes for the individual to feel the effects of the drug.
And in some cases, snorting the drug simply amplifies its effects… this is why some prefer to snort it… they just want the effects amplified!

Not everyone snorts when they laugh, of course not… but maybe you are one of those who snort when laughing and all you want is to know why… and maybe, just maybe, you just want to stop it…
That sound you do when you laugh made you go through some embracing situations, right? So here is the physis behind laugh snorting:
Basically, instead of exhaling through your mouth, you exhale through your nose. Because all stays in the nose area.
The air you inhale stays restricted in your nose and throat, just like when someone snores at night, and when you laugh you make that sound, why? Because when you laugh all the air moves in and out very quickly and that causes the surrounding tissues to vibrate…
And after all of that, what do you hear? The famous snort sound!
The sound that makes you embarrassed when you laugh in front of people, and that you want to get rid of…

You need to redirect the air through your mouth so you should focus maintaining an opened mouth. It should not be through your nose as you are used to. This will help to prevent you from doing that,
consciously close off your nasal passage. Try this with some intentionality and everything is going to be just fine.
I know that that sounds easy here but it’s not that easy when you are laughing and trying to do all of this.
But I believe you can do it! If you are intentionally doing that when you laugh in time you will stop snorting… trust me!

Some people love it and think that this is cute and funny, some people think it’s just embarrassing. Either way, some people do snort why they laugh.
